Dasara Festival:

Having sona ended comes the 'Kanyamasa'. This is the month of removal of rice seeds. Before this the new 'Tene' should come inside the house. This is only the 'Koral' festival. Almost they celebrate this in 'Mahanavami' day. On the first day night the head of the house should wear wet clothes, having hold of 'Parkathi' he has to go to the field. Having cut off 'Kalu' and 'Daddal' trees bark, he covers himself with it, upto it they keep the Cucumber. Mango and jackfruit branches will be tied together. Having this all he keeps this on the middle of 'pairu' as a hidden thing as anyone can't see. After this the girl children's will catch the deepa and having kumkum and flowers, which is mixed with kumkum, having sprinkling the rice, come to their father. They just put little water on his feet saying poli poli, they keep the tene in their tulasi and then they hit the coconuts. Then they just take the deepa up and they put the gandha. To this tene mango and jackfruit leaves are joined and then it is tied with Daddal. They tie this to the selected pieces. 'Hatti', 'kotti', 'noga', 'nagilu', 'halage', 'ghost's bed' is going to be tied with this tene then the remaining tene is used to do something of rice. Ganesh Chaturthi:

The head of the house will keep the idol of lord Ganesh and do the pooja this is the heritage of Tulunadu is famous. Upon the banana leaf we keep white rice and a cup of water. The kumkum kept in the jackfruit leaf was used by the people for putting in it forehead and praying to lord Ganesh and then having a sweet food on chathurthi day nonveg food is prohibited for the Bunts. The land which is related to lord Naga, those who having this on the 11th day "Anantha Chathurdashi", they would celebrate this as "Nompu" on that day also nonveg is prohibited.

'Bisu' (Saura yugadi):

Paggu sakramanam is the beginning of the New Year for the Bunts. Paggu sankramana is celebrated on 'Bisu Festival' by the Tuluvas. This clearly shows that from the beginning itself they used to worship sun God. That is why it is called as "Saura Yugadi". Bunts prepare special and delicious foods especially for the day of Vishu. 'Payasum' and soud guard curry is the symbol of life's sweetness and sorrow. They also used to wear new dresses to celebrate the vishu day festival.

Aatida Amavase:

During 'Aati da amase' or 'month of Mithuna', no major tasks being undertaken. One cannot see Paady Granary, "Akki Mudi', during the aati month. Bunts eat "uppad pachir", (Jack fruit pieces soaked with salt water), jack fruit, dried jackfruit seeds, dryfish eat in the month of aati. Next is "Ashad Amavasyam"-it is a custom to drink the medicinal juice prepared from the pieces of the trunk of the tree called "Paale Tree". "Paale Tree" is well known for the purpose of the preparation of medicines. It is said that the tree has the power to cure many diseases. In the dawn of the day, one of the male members of the family goes to the Pale Tree in naked to bring its pieces. He should remove the Pale tree piece from the tree in a single hit by using the sharp stone edge. Mixing pepper and garlic with the extracted Pale tree milk is though bitter to drink wonderful for maintaining good health through out the year.

Nagara Panchami (Naga Festival):

Tuluvas ever used to worship the snakes. Bunts give importance to the snake worship (Nagaradhanam). They have the faith that naga or snake live in their land protects them. One of the "Daivam" worshipped by the Bunts is "JadeDari". "JadeDari" daiva is nothing but the worshipping of Naga God (God of Snake).

The next day was the Krishna Janmashtami Festival. Deepavali -Bathing Festival:

Krishnastami: 'Attami' (worship of lord Krishna):

Krishnastami is celebrated in the month of simha (Sona Masam). Krishnastami day is the day of (Rohini Nakshtram) star rohini of shravana. 'Moode' is special food item on the day of Astami (Moode is the food prepared from rice). The day before astami is "Bolanth" 'Rice payasam' is the special food item for "Bolunth". 'Chennamane' play is the popular game and bunts used to play chennamane till midnight on bolunk.
